Our consultants are the main point of contact for our customers who need impartial guidance and a clearer way forward.
You’ll use your professional judgement, empathy and communication skills to help clients make sense of complex situations, take the right next step and provide ongoing support throughout their legal journey.
Whilst a legal background is advantageous, it is not required – we provide full training and support.

ChallengeMy connects people who need legal support with the right specialist solicitors – not just any solicitor. We’re not a law firm and we don’t provide legal advice.
Our role is to make the legal world easier to navigate, helping more customers find the confidence to take action and reach the right firms, faster.
This, in turn, makes the market larger.
Our consultants diagnose each customer’s situation, prepare them properly and only then provide a shortlist of solicitors best suited to their issue.
That means every referral you receive is relevant, well‑briefed and ready to progress.

Access to justice: why ChallengeMy exists
Across England and Wales, millions of people face legal problems but never take action.
Research by the Legal Services Board and The Law Society published in 2025 shows that around 66% of adults experience at least one legal issue every four years, yet 38% receive no professional help at all.
The reasons are clear:
- Many believe that navigating the law favours those who are “skilful and resourceful”
- Almost 9 out of 10 people agree the system feels “stacked against ordinary people”
- Cost and complexity are also major barriers, leaving many unsure of where to start
